Now Available - Automatic Tax Payments
Notice: If you pay the first half of your taxes and your escrow company also pays the first half of your taxes, we do not refund either half to you or the escrow company. Your taxes will be considered paid in full and any additional payments will be returned to the sender. If this was not your desired result, you will need to work with your escrow company - not the county.
This applies not only to escrow companies but any two taxpayers who think they are paying for the first half. There will be no refunds on taxes until an overpayment is received.
Beginning in 2013 and thereafter, Hubbard County will no longer send penalty notices because taxes were not paid on time or the correct amount was not paid. There will be one past due notice sent approx. Dec. 1st of each year. This is due to staff and budget cuts.
Taxpayers are reminded to submit tax statement stubs with payments to insure that payments are applied correctly. If stubs are not available, make sure to submit all property numbers being paid.Tax statements are sent to the recorded owner as of March 31st of each year.
No further statements are sent.
The payment of taxes is not affected by the failure to receive the tax statement.Pay your taxes online!

The only restriction is that the amount being paid must be sufficient to cover the costs of any penalty, interest and costs due at the time of the payment
