Hubbard County eRecords all approved document types!
Our office is responsible for recording over 400 types of documents including legal records of all property titles and transfers in the county. These records include various forms of deeds, real estate mortgages, liens, and contracts for deed. In addition, we issue vital statistics including births and deaths. We also maintain military discharges and ordinations.
We have the
responsibility to maintain these records on a permanent basis and
make them available to the public in our office. Copies may be obtained at a
nominal cost. We accept requests either by mail or in person.
The State of Minnesota requires that an application be completed in
order to obtain birth and death records. You must demonstrate
a tangible interest to the person for whom you are requesting
information on the application.
Some birth records are restricted and may only be
issued to a parent named on the record. We are happy to confirm the
status of a record by phone prior to your mailing an application or
driving to our office.

Please print out the forms and complete all necessary items
(including notarizations, if necessary.) Mail the forms to the
above address with a check or money order for the exact amount
payable to the Hubbard County Recorder. We will process your
request and mail out your forms as soon as possible.
