Hubbard County Veterans Service Office has limited office hours for appointments only.

Over 95% of our Veteran’s Service Office clients meet the CDCs definition of Individuals with higher risk of getting very sick from COVID 19:

  • Older adults
  • People who have serious chronic medical conditions like:
    • Heart disease
    • Diabetes
    • Lung disease

Coincidentally, these diseases are presumed to be caused by Agent Orange exposure and specifically, possible lung conditions for Gulf War Veterans due to Burn Pit exposure.

One of the recommendations from the CDC to minimize higher risk individuals from getting sick is to stay home as much as possible to further reduce your risk of being exposed.

In light of CDC recommendations, to include Contact Tracing requirements, and for the health and safety of our Veterans and Residents, the Hubbard County Veterans Service Office has limited office hours for appointments only on Monday and Thursday.  During normal business hours Monday – Friday, Veterans or Residents needing services can call (218) 732-3561, or email Jerry Bjerke at Jerrold.bjerke@co.hubbard.mn.us, or Darius Simon at darius.simon@co.hubbard.mn.us.  Thank You.
