Transfer Stations

In Hubbard County there are two transfer stations. 

North Transfer Station
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday
7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Located 1 mile north of the junction of U.S. Hwy 71 & 200 at Kabekona Corner.

South Transfer Station
Monday - Friday
7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday
7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Located east of Park Rapids on Hwy. 34, then south on County Road 6 approximately 3/4 mile.

Need directions?

The transfer station accepts:

  • Trash
  • Recycling
  • Yard waste
  • Organics
  • Construction & demolition waste
  • Household hazardous waste
  • Appliances
  • Electronics
  • Tires
  • Mobile homes & boats
When going to the transfer stations make sure all of your waste is secure.  There is a $700 fine for littering, and the law is strictly enforced on all roads & streets leading to the transfer stations.

Both of the transfer stations are closed on the following holidays:

  • Presidents Day

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
