Recycling Sites
There are fourteen recycling sites scattered throughout the county to make recycling more convenient for all residents of the county.
Materials accepted:
- Cardboard
- Newspaper
- Magazines
- Phonebooks
- Junk mail
- Office paper
- Cans (aluminum, steel and tin)
- Glass containers
- #1 Plastic
- #2 Plastic
The recycling sites can be found at the following locations:
- Park Rapids
- Coborn’s (back parking lot)
- Hugo’s
- Cwilka Ace Hardware
- Wal-Mart (parking lot)
- Nevis Hubbard County Public Works
- Akeley behind the Liquor Store
- Laporte Intersection of Hwy 200 and County 39
- Farden Twp. Grace Lake Bar & Grill
- Rockwood Twp. Backwoods Bar & Grill
- Becida Bar & Grill
- Lake George Town Hall
- Benedict Hardware Store
- Arago Town Hall
- Hubbard Community Center
The recycling sites are only there for convenient drop off of recyclables. No garbage or other trash is allowed to be placed at the drop off sites. All violators will be prosecuted.
