JOB TITLE: Human Resource Director
DEPARTMENT: Hubbard County Human Resources Department
HOURS PER WEEK: FT, FLSA exempt position (minimum of 40 hours/week, 8:00 to 4:30 p.m.)
SALARY RANGE: $65,982.80 (step 1) - $86,092.45 (step 10) annually DOQ, full benefit package
COUNTY DATA: Hubbard County has a population of 20,658 and is 999 square miles in size. Park Rapids, MN is the Hubbard County seat. The county is home to tourism, agriculture and logging.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY: This position is appointed by the Hubbard County Board of Commissioners and is responsible to develop, implement and administer County personnel functions and programs including employee recruitment, selection, orientation, training, salary administration, discipline and termination; employee relations; certification of payroll; and policy and procedure development. Responsibilities also include providing policy and procedure level assistance to County Departmental Managers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in human resource management and four (4) years human resources experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job position description. Must have and maintain a current valid MN driver license or be capable of getting one prior to established hire.
