JOB TITLE:                                      Office Assistant I

 

DEPARTMENT:                              Veteran Services Office & U of M Extension Service

 

HOURS PER WEEK:                     Full time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours

 

SALARY RANGE:                           $11.9601 – 15.6053, ten step wage range (2016 wage per collective bargaining agreement, under negotiation for 2017 wage determination), full benefit package. 

 

DUTIES:                                                          Perform general office assistance and duties for VSO and Hubbard County Extension Service (4-H &/or University Programs) including reception, customer service, filing, word processing, data entry, desktop publishing, photo editing and website updates

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:      Applicant must have knowledge of office procedures, be proficient in use of PC’s and possess basic bookkeeping skills.  Excellent customer service skills are important.

Full Time Deputy

 

 

JOB TITLE:                                      Full Time Deputy Sheriff

 

DEPARTMENT:                              Hubbard County Sheriff’s Department

 

HOURS PER WEEK:                     Full time, rotating shift including weekends, holidays and nights possible.

 

SALARY RANGE:                           $21.9430 (step 1, 2016 wage per CBA, 2017 wage TBD), full benefit package

 

DUTIES:                                                          Secure the peace, uphold the law, protect the health and welfare of the citizens of Hubbard County and complete the Transport/Civil Process assignment duties.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:      A two (2) year Criminal Justice Degree and must be MN P.O.S.T. Board licensed, or eligible to be licensed.  Minimum one year law enforcement (patrol) experience preferred.  Applicant must pass psychological test and a physical.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good public relation skills necessary.  A thorough criminal background check will be completed on all applicants.

 

CLOSING DATE:                            Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on 3/3/17.

 

                                                            Applications received will be held on a twelve month eligibility list for future consideration of deputy positions.
