Solid Waste Attendant Pool
JOB TITLE: Solid Waste Attendant
DEPARTMENT: Solid Waste Department
HOURS PER WEEK:
Hours will be as needed, supplementing regular employee
SALARY RANGE: $8.00 - $13.00 per hour, DOQ
DUTIES: Assisting and directing public in unloading and processing solid waste and recyclables; maintenance of work area including cleaning and sweeping, etc.; operation of a lawn mower, weed whip, calculator and telephone. Experience on heavy equipment, backhoe, loader and semi-tractor trailer preferred but not required. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must enjoy working outside in all types of weather and possess good public relations and communication skills.
